Bo’ness Car 4U Volunteer Privacy Policy
As a volunteer for Bo’ness Car 4U we will hold, your name, e-mail address, telephone number, mobile number, postal address, bank details and the nature of your involvement with Bo’ness Car 4U and expenses claim forms.
We neither get nor keep copies of your PVG certificate but will note your PVG number.
For those that drive, the details of your current MOT (if required), Driving Licence and Certificate of Insurance, make, colour and registration number of your vehicle will be noted and thereafter on each mileage expenses claim form submitted by you, you will certify that a valid certificate of insurance, MOT, if required, and a current driving licence are held by you.
Care is taken in the holding of data, it is always held if when printed on paper, in a locked cabinet or on a password protected device, any general circulation will use blind copy address lists. However, we may be legally required to release information to the police, or legal advisors.
These details are only used to allow Bo’ness Car 4U to provide the best possible service for our clients, contact details are accessible to committee members, and volunteers, but are not shared with any other third party. Patients will be informed of your first name and the make, colour and registration number of the vehicle undertaking the drive.
Should you cease to be a volunteer with Bo’ness Car 4U you should know that we will keep your data for 6 years after you ceased to be a volunteer with us and that we are legally required to hold all your expenses claim forms for a period of 7 years.
